MLK Community Center Juneteenth Celebration

The MLK Community Center hosts a neighborhood-rooted Juneteenth celebration in the heart of East Central Spokane. The community-wide event features soul food and traditional Juneteenth fare, live music and DJs, raffle prizes, kids' activities, and information from local community organizations serving Black families in Spokane. Annual Pillar Awards

The Inland Northwest Juneteenth Coalition's Annual Pillar Awards honor individuals and organizations who uplift, support, and advance the African American community in Spokane and the Inland Northwest. The evening at the historic Fox Theater opens with a 6:00 PM social hour followed by a 7:00 PM program featuring award presentations, live performances, keynote remarks, and recognition of community leaders, educators, youth, artists, and elders.
