The 6th Annual Planning District 16 Juneteenth Celebration moves up one week in 2026 to Saturday, June 6 at North Stafford High School. The free family-friendly festival serves the greater Fredericksburg region (Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, and Caroline counties) with live music, soul food, kids' activities, a vendor marketplace, and community resources. PD16 Community organizes the day-long event.

What to expect at a Juneteenth festival
Juneteenth festivals are the heart of the holiday — multi-hour, family-friendly, and densely programmed.
