About This Event
Eastlake Park, the historic heart of Black Phoenix, hosts an annual Juneteenth celebration that has been held at the park since the early 1920s. The celebration features live music, food, arts and crafts, storytelling, local vendors, exhibits, a DJ, dancing, and educational programming. Eastlake Park has been the focal point of Phoenix's Black history and the starting point of many civil rights marches to the Arizona State Capitol.
