About This Event

One of Metro Detroit’s premier Juneteenth events, the 2026 Madison Heights Juneteenth Celebration features live music, dance performances, African American-owned food trucks and vendors, bounce houses, a 25-foot climbing tower (courtesy of Oakland County Parks), a petting zoo, pony rides, educational exhibits and more! Hosted by Madison Heights Citizens United, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, this regional event is in its sixth year and attracts visitors from across the Metro Detroit area. Scheduled to perform at the free Juneteenth concert at the city's bandshell are Smoke Jones and the Heart & Soul Band, X. Alexander Durden, Kayfabe: The PPLs Band, The Circle of Sound Band, Groove Fellowship, Rosemont and Shawn Tracey, along with dance performances by Infinity Dance Studios. Free admission. Free parking.
