Underground Railroad and Living History with the Buffalo Soldiers takes the grounds of the historic 1838 Menard House on Tuesday, June 17, 2026 from 10 AM to 2 PM. Free admission. Reenactors portraying members of the 9th and 10th Cavalry regiments share stories of Black military service alongside Underground Railroad scholarship as part of Galveston Historical Foundation's Juneteenth lineup.
