The Hometown Heroes Banquet honors community leaders during the Daytona Beach Juneteenth celebration weekend. Now in its 27th year, the Daytona Beach Juneteenth celebration is the largest and longest-running Juneteenth event in the state of Florida. The banquet recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to advancing freedom, equality, and community in Volusia County. Attendees enjoy dinner, awards, keynote speakers, and a program celebrating the legacy of Juneteenth.
