About This Event

Songs of Freedom is the Town of Cary's Juneteenth celebration at Downtown Cary Park from 3:30-9:00 PM. The free, soulful evening features historian Darrell Stover, live reenactments, spoken word, a saxophone summit, and music celebrating unity, culture, and joy. Food trucks, family activities, and community vendors round out the program.
