About This Event

Burlington's annual Juneteenth Celebration returns to downtown for a full day of programming on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Centered on the theme 'Freedom: Yesterday's Legacy, Today's Promise, Tomorrow's Hope,' the festival fills City Hall Park and the Church Street Marketplace with live music, performances, vendors, food, and community resource booths. The day also features the Juneteenth Celebration Awards honoring individuals, organizations, and businesses advancing equity and belonging across the Burlington region. Produced by the City of Burlington's Racial Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (REIB) office in partnership with Burlington City Arts, Business & Workforce Development, and Church Street Marketplace, the celebration is free and open to the public.
