MFA Boston Juneteenth Open House 2026

The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston offers complimentary admission to all Massachusetts residents on June 19 in honor of Juneteenth, the oldest nationally observed commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. The day features performances, art-making activities, talks, and access to special exhibitions including 'Witnessing Humanity: The Art of John Wilson,' spotlighting the Roxbury artist whose work addresses racial prejudice and social injustice. Tickets are first-come, first-served in person only for those with valid Massachusetts zip codes. The MFA is open 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
